Offerings: Offerings are a vital part of honoring Eleggua. Common offerings include candy, cigars, rum, coconuts, and toys, as Eleggua is associated with childlike qualities and is playful in nature. Offerings are often placed in front of or around the Eleggua head to gain his favor and ensure success in endeavors.

Ritual Cleansing and Empowerment: The Eleggua head may be used in ritual cleansings or blessings to remove negativity and bring positive energy.
