The 7 Powers are deities of the Yoruba religion. These deities are known as Orishas. Specifically they are Obatala, Yemaya, Oshun, Eleggua Chango, Orula, and Ogun. Anyone can pray and connects to the 7 Powers to get guidance and protection. Any religion and any spiritual path because the Orishas are of a pure energy.
The specific Orishas who are most involved in human everyday matters may be invoked together as a group known as the Seven African Powers. The exercise of prayer requires tranquility and peace of mind. The essence of prayer is faith, it is your motive power that comes from within you and its movement must be directed upwards to where all earthy favors come from.
Anyone can make their prayers come true. This is as sure as the rise of tomorrow’s sun. If you knew how you would feel if your prayer were answered, and if you could realize, consciously, just how you could awaken such a feeling in yourself, you will travel a long way toward learning how to make your dreams come true. Imagination is the beginning of creation. You must imagine what you desire and believe it to be true. True prayer can come only from within yourself.
Instructions: Hold a pinch of prayer powder in your hand while envisioning the outcome that you desire. Once you feel your prayer powder is filled with energy, you may burn it, release it to the winds, sprinkle it on the earth, or throw it into running water. Sprinkle some in each of the four corners of a room and at the doors to keep dark energies away. Blowing is done by placing a small amount of the powder into the palm of the hand, or onto a sheet of paper. Then blowing the powder towards a person, place, or direction. Establish the psychic link within yourself of spiritual awareness, inner peace, and positive transformation. You must pray daily and meditate on your desired result.
